JS1, those are some great images for Flash. It's too bad they messed up the covers with that yellow box. Who did the art for the covers? Are the interiors in color or b&w and are they reprints?

Those are Italian covers by artist Mario Caria who painted covers for a number of comic books published by Fratelli Spada in the 60s and70s, including Flash Gordon, Mandrake, Phantom and others.

In Italy the character was called Gordon. I don't know why. Buck Rogers was called Elio Fiamma (Helium Flame!) :-))
