Phil R
I've always like the cool advertising items from Buck Rogers, especially the Big Thrill gum booklets. when I saw the one I wanted (both Buck and Wilma) first as a BIN, and in near mint condition, I jumped on it. I used the comic company's photo because it's better than I could have done. It's 1934 and it's amazing they survive in this condition with their fragility and acid content in the paper. There are 6 in the series and now I'm pressured to get them all. They're only 2-3/4" x 2-3/8" but this one's a beauty. I've also pictured the other five I don't have. Morbius
Congrats Phil, go for the set. That one's beautiful alright. Too many times we think too much about something that pops up quickly and it's gone in 60 seconds. We don't NEED food. (we do need shelter for the collectibles). I Robot
Nice addition Phil! The booklet looks to be in great shape. Hard to visualize from the artwork and photo that it is so small in size Good thing you were so quick on the draw! Hope the others in the set make their way to your collection.
