Someone will be very proud to own those someday. Yes, I understand completely. I myself am very proud to own them now...and I hope that one day somebody else can enjoy them as well, whenever that day may be. In speaking with a few appraisers, many who'd never seen these banks before had no idea what they may be worth, as they are unique...but a Peter Max specialist suggested that under certain circumstances, they each might bring upwards of six figures at auction. That would be one exciting auction!

MacDaddyRico
For anyone interested in owning a truly unique, one of a kind Astronaut autograph, check out this Destination Moon Bank...This is a great opportunity at a great price... http://www.ebay.com/itm/APOLLO-7-Astronaut-WALT-CUNNINGHAM-Signed-AUTOGRAPH-Destination-Moon-BANK-COA-/192116626678 This man sold me my first autographed bank, which sparked my interest in collecting more banks so that I could get even more astronauts to sign them, resulting in the collection I have today. I've already sold two of my unique signed banks for $950 each, and they were not even Commemorative specimens..!
MacDaddyRico
So I came across a miniature Mercury Rocket Bank in a doll house scale... So I decided to add to this miniature collection... A Berenstain Bears comic book entitled On The Moon, and a fully functioning relief Moon Globe accompany a ceramic Armstrong feve... The galette des rois is a cake traditionally shared at Epiphany, on 6 January. It celebrates the arrival of the Three Wise Men in Bethlehem. Composed of a puff pastry cake, with a small charm, the fève, hidden inside, it is usually filled with frangipane, a cream made from sweet almonds, butter, eggs and sugar. But more gourmet versions are available for us to enjoy, with chocolate, apple or candied fruits. Every year, the leading French pâtissiers offer exclusive creations for the tradition of crowning the one who finds the fève.
