These Osaka rotos built by MH are very rare and hardly ever appear for sale .  Notice the T28 driver within from a Blue to a Silver dependent on what color the Robot is with its Blue, Red, Silver and Black body only 50 ever made in each version!

What this cool looking Black meter MH robot looks like along side the Yellow meter version.

I saw this guy up on Robot Island this morning, but it was gone later in the day (sold I guess).

I own the Yellow version, and have never seen the black version, and didn't know it existed. I am assuming the black version is super rare? Was it something MH did right before closing? Perhaps they ran out of yellow paint?

Metal House even gone will still surprise us with a few rare one offs or perhaps a small run of 3 versions. They still have parts that were made and can still assemble  one or two robots over time. Robot Island will also have a surprise for us once he locates them.

There were 4 meter robots version done using the same body design, 1rst was a smoker, 2nd was the same as version 1 but did not smoke, 3rd was the yellow new meter, and last was this Black meter III. This Black version uses the head parts of the last Space Evil with the eyes and mouth.

Does this mean that MH is still making robots, at least some based on parts that they have remaining? (I know the machinery is gone). Or did Robot Island buy these parts and will build some?

As I have probably said before on here, I wish Robot Island could find a way to make exclusive, high quality robots equivalent to the old MH line. It seems they have tried this to some degree, with the Moon Robot they have been selling. As can be seen with some of the MH prices on Ebay lately, there is certainly a market for such robots.

The Stamping equipment is gone in a museum now however good question on the spare remaining parts, someone has those original parts perhaps a builder from MH and very slowly those cool magic robots come together for us to see and perhaps buy. Metal House made/built Robots for Osaka and Billiken and going back the Horikawa line. Take the Cosmic Fighter that was the last time MH did a plastic body build for the Horikawa company and the last Star Strider in Black as MH continued there great builds for Osaka.

Yes the market is there for those very unique robots that seem to appear.

Gone but not forgotten Metal House had a Grand opening for its Bar/Café shop with its press machines for all to see.

A quote from Metal House owner! from July 27th 2019

Unfortunately, the metal house has been closed in the spring of 2017, and it has become the only facility for the tin toy factory, which is preserved in the working of such large presses.
The production of Tin Toy Factory, which has lasted about 120 years from the latter half of the meiji period, is also about to end.
Japan's tin toy making is a reputation for quality and voila beauty all over the world, and it attracts collectors from all over the world.
From The 27th of this month, we will start business as a bar that can enjoy food and drink in front of the press.
There will be no place like this even if you look for the world.
