I was thinking the same thing zz and wish someone would come up with something new vice re-using the same 1960s parts over and over in different combinations...although I understand the return wouldn't justify the money spent in creating something new. Roboto Posted September 27, 2012 Author Share Posted September 27, 2012 Now that MH has gotten away from making Newly designed Robots from scratch the best we can hope for is to see them use there stock up to make a few newer looks to what they have. The world of new Tin Robots is slowly ending as many have already stopped making new ones. Planet Robot just recently pulled there Web page down MH has retired there Tin making machines and Osaka has become very quite with there new Tin Robots. Even Papa-San has stopped making new Robots and are only doing customs and selling samples away. As for this new one from MH the Red Video version this is the first Video Robot made as a smoking version in a very long time. There were other newer versions out there that came and went overnight.I would have loved to purchase this Red version with his ray gun and a few others on these photos but wonder what happened to them as they were released for sale in Japan only. New battery operated robot from Metal House Japan. This new series features a spinning radar antenna on the side of Robot's cylindrical head. Each Robot is hand built especially for the collector in a very limited production. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for your Robot to be hand built. This is a preorder and cannot be canceled. Brand new mint and boxed direct from Metal House Japan factory guaranteed! Time for me to order before a certain model becomes sold out. All 3 have that 1 antenna spinning. Ultrarobotman Posted February 18, 2013 Share Posted February 18, 2013 So much for the 3 or 4 weeks arrival; but thats o.k. and understandable .I am still waiting on two, Roboto, the gear and gun versions, from R.I., looks like the gear version has moving "lifters" on each side of the moving gears; that is what I can make of the pic-and you say the gunner has his guns moving in and out, is that right? some very nice 'bots, and I was actually going to buy all 3 but I thought they might have posted another pre-order by the time these were produced, kind of like what sort of happened with these after the Metal Revolution and red "new video" new releases, it was a very short time between these pre- orders , Anyway, in my opinion, 3 more outstanding bots from Japan , fresh, brand new and sure to be worth a pile in the future... Roboto Posted February 20, 2013 Author Share Posted February 20, 2013 My favorite of the 3 is the meter version because of the Martian Fly Eye head since not many more parts are in stock at MH. I ordered the Yellow Meter and yes the pre-order will take a while since MH just finished there on-line sales in Japan on them and now MH will make what is needed for us all. MH may yet surprise use for another year with a few of there Customs with what ever parts they have left then all will be gone just like PlanetRobot. The gunner has light and sound as the guns move and shake hopefully this will be as stated on there on-line site that is now gone with many Items sold out. Seems MH still has a few more Martian heads in stock to make it happen and now they have added another cool color in silver. Roboto Posted March 25, 2013 Author Share Posted March 25, 2013 MH also released this Machine Man as a proto-type or perhaps a sample run since only a few are to be made and with the pre-order will take about a month or 2 for them to be made. They call it a proto-type but 3 can be ordered so I am going with sample run. However at $1,900.00 plus it is up there in cost. It does look nice but yet unknown as to what he does as he walks along with his meter going and looks like he is a smoker and perhaps the side lights work and even perhaps the red dome lights up. However, the new machine man from M.H. looks suspiciously like a direct cross between a newer M.H. and a Yamashita bot with the latter pricetag.
