kennetzel Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 This purple final run Doom was supposed to have been made with purple metallic finish to the arms and head but seems a mistake may have happened and the final make was done in the above flat purple. After the series was over 3 original purple metallics were left. They had the same features as the flat version and came with the factory box. Seems as time went on other very limited proto-types and or mistakes were out there looking to be found. :) Hey, this looks like the one I have. I won this at my very first Botstock...Botstock V. Roboto Posted September 19, 2011 Author Share Posted September 19, 2011 I have added this Space Doom variant called Martian gear to this forum. This one however does not have the Red gel eyes and was listed without having moving arms. His fly eyes are lit but does not have that white MH logo stamp on the battery box. Roboto Posted July 22, 2012 Author Share Posted July 22, 2012 Once after The Doom series ended there were still parts left at MH to make another run in the teal color now called TV Robot. They made it with the Space Doom head but with out the fly eyes just like they did with the Space evil in white version. Roboto Posted July 2, 2016 Author Share Posted July 2, 2016 Yes it does I added a front photo to it as a display. The TV robots look better with something there instead of that white screen. I have begun a Anti-matter doom for my collection and have finished the front display with an original photo print on what the inner drum has. I had an extra photo print sheet and made 2 of them.
