Roboto
I finally found a site thru MH on the rise and fall of my most favorite Robots the Space evils. Now if only another one will appear on the short lived Space doom ones. The site can be viewed thru Metalhouserobots.com
Eagle
2006 ???? It must not be the two collectors I'm thinking of or they met way before march 2007 ? Anyone know ?
Roboto
The last color from MH in the evils were the green ones. I would love to see an all white or orange Space evil made soon. Perhaps in a limited run of 50 . :)
Roboto
The release date for them was 12-03-07. By 2009 they stopped because of high production costs. They were very well made and it is always fun looking for the hard to get colored eye ones. For myself it took some time locating them. They have that great looking black/brown body color to them.I always wondered why not a green eyed version added. Â

Roboto
They started to release a few in very nice body colors like this Burgundy with chrome neck and arm rings along with chrome eyes they sold out very fast since only 70 were ever made. This was one of only 2 models that had silver boots
Roboto
The time the Burgundy model came out MH Bliking released a limited powder metallic blue with red eyes. Later on the same version came out in silver eye version. They also released a jet black version with chrome eyes and ring collars. The powder with red eyes and the Black version are very hard to find today. Â
Roboto
Towards the end of 2007 two more colors were added. The bright red evil with silver boots and another colored shade of yellow for the eyes not the same as was for the Horikawa Blk/brown version. And a bright enamel blue finish with red eyes and boots. They had begun to add interesting colors for the new market. The cost was still over $100.00 to buy but they were built and painted very well and ran strong. Roboto
In 2008 they released there silver metallic with red and blue eyes the cost was still up there and the quality was still in the Evils. The run of Evils was slowly ending and 2009 was coming. This run had only 25 makes of each color. Â
Roboto
In 2009 the perhaps last Space Evil was added in a Green Metallic color. Has the red eyes and boots that made this one stand out. Only 100 were made in this color. Â
Roboto
In the time of Space evils another evil was born. They made a few with red eyes and clear guns but added a bulb to the inner head. The were called Mars demons. They had started to use the Space evil body design with limited runs. The Mars demons still used the Horikawa Blk/Brown paint version as the limited run of 50 had. Having the eyes lit made a big difference. They even invaded the Toy Robot Museum. Roboto
One very rare version of the Space evil design was use to make a very rare limited run of Apollo 3000 series looking like the Apollo 2000 with colored body. Space evil Robot with a different twist. In the last few years of collecting I have only found one. I believe they were made in 3 color combos of only 5 each. They came with the plastic clear guns another rare add on feature to limited Evils. Â
Roboto
Towards the end another try at the evils body took place. A space patrol evil was born. Only one prototype was made. The eyes have 2 pilots at the control with instrument panels in the back that are lit when he is turned on. The cost was also very high to make especially the clear eyes and this one was never put into full production. Same Horikawa brown/blk paint finish. Roboto
With the gang of 4 limited edition Space evils a color that was thought of but never put into production was this custom Green eyed version with clear green guns. Same body color as the others. Like the others it would have also sold out. Â
Roboto
Hopefully the Space Evils will rise again some day. I will always be ready to add one to the collection. Â
